I’m hesitating again, as time passes by in the midst of uncertainty… Tomorrow I’ll hesitate again, an ongoing inherent doubt. So many things keep on repeating over and over, only some of them evolve…

Body on process is a project based on subtlety and rupture, frailty and fortitude. The body as a grapheme, time as the audience. Living in the cracks, being reborn in the impossible.
Manuel Rodríguez is a dancer, choreographer and visual artist. His work focuses on the power of the image and abstraction, using the scene as a field of conflict between different artistic languages in order to transcend the perception and shape, where the body is articulated as vehicular and plastic tool.

Oleg Nikolayevich Karavaychuk (1927 – 2016) played the piano for Stalin as a child prodigy, attended the Leningrad Conservatory and in the course of his career primarily wrote music for theatre and film for instance, for Paradjanov and Muratova. In Russia, he is admired for his music and his playing, but also for his unique and eccentric personality. Karavaychuk is still a controversial and puzzling figure in Russian culture.

The beautiful film that the young Andrés Duque made about him is a gift to the viewer, a gift from an old artist who wants to be reconciled with the world and who transports us away from reality with words, gestures and piano playing, free of social conventions, to a world where clashing dissonants have a liberating beauty.

Shining Night offers a glimpse into the life and music of one of America's greatest contemporary composers, National Medal of Arts recipient Morten Lauridsen, who has written much of his remarkable music in his rustic cabin on Waldron Island and his home on San Juan Island.

Exploring the relationship of art, nature, and spirituality, Shining Night reveals the composer through the lens of his love for the natural world together with his passion for music and poetry, interwoven with commentaries from composers, conductors, singers, and friends.

Filmed between 2010-2011 in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Aberdeen, Scotland, and Waldron Island, the documentary conveys the richness and breadth of the award-winning composer'39s life, with a soundtrack featuring his masterworks- Lux Aeterna, O Magnum Mysterium, Nocturnes (Sa Nuit D'Ete, Soneto de la Noche, and Sure On This Shining Night), Dirait-on and Madrigali.
